FAQs | Auto-marking Assessments

Multiple choice and/or open-ended questions sorted by topics and varying difficulty levels to offer your child more practices to strengthen their grasp of key concepts.

The assessments are designed to offer competency-based learning with 3 difficulty levels:

  • Explorer
  • Conqueror
  • Achiever
Your child will have to unlock the preceding level before being able to proceed to the next.

To get to the next level (eg. from Explorer to Conqueror), students have to attempt and get as many questions correct as possible.

Questions answered incorrectly will slow down progression to the next level, so students will have to attempt more questions as additional practice.

Students who have difficulty making progression will be redirected to view more relevant lessons to build up the foundation and understanding of the particular topic.

There is no limitation on the number of times your child can attempt an assessment. Upon attainment of the Superstar level for a topic, students will be able to attempt Mixed Bag revisions (sets of 10 questions).

There is no fixed number of questions to answer as the unlocking of difficulty levels depends on your child's competency in a particular topic.

No, there is no time limit for each assessment. If a student leaves an assessment midway through a session, the system will save the session and the student is able to continue from the last session.

Students can view their progress and review past assessments under the History tab. At the lessons page, students will also be able to see their progress in the assessment component for each topic and continue challenging themselves in their assessments at the click of a button.

Your child can clarify his or her doubt from a mentor immediately by clicking on the Ask Mentor button.

Yes, you can. The study tracker will store the details and results of your child’s last ten assessments.
